“Works with Shopify” can describe different things: a model in Shopify’s support table, a particular app workflow, or a computer printing an original shipping-label PDF. Those statements are useful only when the model and route are clear.
This guide focuses on what that distinction means for the three printers in Tagrivo’s catalog. It does not claim that we have fulfilled Shopify orders or tested Shopify hardware integrations.
Start with Shopify’s exact supported list
The Shopify-supported printer table is the primary source for its current list. It records model numbers, regions and compatibility rather than supporting an entire manufacturer brand at once.
Check the current row and any linked workflow before ordering. Availability by region is not confirmation of stock at a retailer, and a list of operating systems does not describe every release, processor or application. Keep a note of the date and route you checked.
Brother QL-1110NWB is an exact-model starting point
Shopify names QL-1110NWB in its table, including a Ship from store reference. This gives the Brother model in our catalog a specific platform source to investigate. It does not eliminate the need to check your device, connection, label format and current instructions.
Before choosing it, compare the DK-roll cost with the consumables for another model. Its cutter, Ethernet and 300 dpi are documented distinctions; none proves a faster packing workflow or more reliable barcode scans in your business. Also distinguish NWB from NWBc and confirm the current Brother support matrix.
Our editorial recommendation is conditional: start with this model if exact-list support matters to you and its media/setup fit. Do not pay for it solely to acquire a Shopify brand association.
Rollo X1038 is not Wireless X1040
Shopify’s Rollo entry is X1038, a USB printer. Tagrivo’s current Rollo entry is Wireless X1040. Do not transfer support between them because the names look similar.
A manufacturer can describe printing Shopify-generated files on another model without that model appearing in Shopify’s table. If you want X1040 for Wi-Fi or a phone-based workflow, confirm the file/application route independently. Windows Arm driver restrictions also remain relevant; our Mac and Windows guide explains that extra check.
The X1038 row’s special platform context should not be used to promise generic USB printing from every phone. Read Shopify’s linked instructions for that workflow, rather than treating it as a feature of all USB thermal printers.
MUNBYN USB: verify the PDF route instead of claiming official listing
The ITPP941 USB does not appear in the Shopify table reviewed for this guide. Its manufacturer parameter page and driver downloads supply different evidence: a wired model and computer-printing software.
If that is the setup you want, verify the exact USB variant, OS/CPU, original file size and application. Do not label this model Shopify-supported based solely on a list of marketplace logos. Its exact current price also remains unverified in our catalog.
A downloaded PDF is its own workflow
Confirm that the actual label service provides the file and dimensions you need. Then match PDF size, paper settings and stock, and keep the full label intact. A screenshot of a label is not an equivalent print source.
Shopify also documents standard desktop printing with its Letter-size paper option. That instruction does not make shrinking an entire Letter page onto 4 × 6 stock correct. Use the platform’s current size options for your actual printer and workflow. For the shared concepts, see our marketplace workflow guide.
Choose by route, then compare the trade-offs
Write down your intended device, whether the route is desktop or a specific Shopify app, the model number and the support source. If a seller cannot confirm them, keep the purchase conditional rather than relying on “compatible” in the listing title.
Use the Finder to identify hardware candidates; selecting Shopify changes its guidance, not an arbitrary product score. Then compare specifications and use your own media quotes. For phone-first operations, also read the mobile guide.
Sources and scope
Sources linked above were reviewed October 29, 2026. Shopify’s table, app support and regional availability can change. This is a documentary comparison of evidence, not a tested integration or a Shopify endorsement of Tagrivo.
